redundancy ttl

Use the Voice Service SIP redundancy ttl command to set the set the SRV Time To Live (TTL) option. The TTL is a set interval of time between flushing the SRV cache.

Syntax: (config-voice-serv-sip)# redundancy ttl seconds

Range 0 - 3600 seconds, with a default of 3600.

 

 

Example: (config-voice-serv-sip)# redundancy ttl 900

redundancy type

Use the Voice Service SIP redundancy type command to configure the redundancy type.

Syntax: (config-voice-serv-sip)# redundancy type {nonesrvuser}

Redundancy feature is disabled. Default.

An SRV lookup will be performed using the main proxy. The hosts/ IPs found are used to form the proxy redundancy list.

The SIP messages will be sent to the primary proxy. If there is a failure it will be sent to the secondary proxy.
