Configuration - RADIUS Mode

host

Use the RADIUS host command to set the RADIUS server IP address on the system.

Syntax: (config-radius)# host address auth-port port

Field

Definition

address

Enter the IP address of the RADIUS server.

 

 

port

Enter the port number to use for RADIUS authentication. Range is 0 -

 

65535 with a default of 1812.

 

 

Example: (config-radius)# host 192.168.1.1 auth-port 1812

key

Use the RADIUS key command to set the RADIUS shared secret password.

Syntax: (config-radius)# key password

Field

Definition

password

Enter a shared secret password for RADIUS, with a maximum of 8

 

characters.

 

 

Example: (config-radius)# key testpswd
