ASD Overload

Program ⇒ Protection ⇒ Overload

This parameter is used to protect the ASD from an overcurrent condition. The

standard overload rating of the H9 ASD is 150% op eration for 60 seconds.

This setting allows for the overload prot ection to be switched f rom the standard

overload detection means (Thermal Detection and Overload) to thermal

detection only.

Settings:

0 — Thermal Detection + Overload

1 — Thermal Detection Only

The Thermal Detection Only selection is used when multiple devices are

installed horizontally as described on pg. 15. If the inst allation provides for no

space in between the adjacent de vices the ASDs must be derated as d escribed in

Figure 31 on pg. 190.
