Configuring a 2x2 Ethernet Wide Area Network

NOTE: If you are using the Configuration IP Address Worksheet from Appendix J, enter the following information:

For Node10, enter the IP address labeled and the gateway address labeled

NOTE: The Serial Number is located on the front of the chassis and is used to identify the UltraNet Edge 3000.

4.Click Apply to enable the maintenance interface. UltraNet ConfigManager will load the IP address information into the UltraNet Edge 3000 and will reboot.

NOTE: Watch the UltraNet Edge Configuration Status box for allocated and assigned messages. These messages will only appear for a brief moment and will indicate if the unit is resetting and booting up.

When finished booting up, the letters PMA will display and remain in the Alphanumeric messages window (see Figure 2-4 in Chapter 2) until the network configuration is delivered. Delivery is performed after the configuration in UltraNet ConfigManager is completed.
