Fan Assembly Removal Procedure

Use the following procedure to remove the fan assembly from the

UltraNet Edge 3000.

Tools Required: A small straight-slot screwdriver.

CAUTION

Attach a wrist strap and follow ESD procedures during the handling of all electronic components.

1. Remove the unit from the equipment rack if necessary.

NOTE: It is not necessary to power down the unit to perform this removal procedure.

CAUTION

If you don’t power down the unit, remember the fan blades will still rotate until you disconnect their power feed wires.
