Hardware Configurations

This chapter provides the valid hardware configurations that are possible with the new customizable UltraNet Edge 3000.

UltraNet Edge 3000 Featurization

The UltraNet Edge 3000 is customizable, allowing you to design the hardware features to fit your specific networking needs.

The basic components of the UltraNet Edge 3000 consist of the UltraNet Edge 3000 chassis and the software license. Each additional component or feature is ordered separately, the following tables describe the optional features and requirements for customizing your UltraNet Edge 3000.

Configuration requirements:

Each UltraNet Edge 3000 requires one chassis and one software license.

Each unit can have a maximum of 4 I/O cards; 2 client and 2 WAN connectivity card combinations.

Each unit includes UltraNet ConfigManager.
