This appendix provides additional UltraNet ConfigManager (UCM) configuration options that are beyond the typical Edge network configurations. The topics covered are as follows:

Configuring the Internal McDATA Fibre Channel Switch Interface

The following section pertains to F_port configurations and is only necessary to configure when using the UltraNet Edge 3000 internal Fibre Channel Switch (FCSW) application.

The Fibre Channel Switch Interface dialog box appears when you

double-click on a Fibre Channel Switch interface , or when you press Finish and Show I/F on the Create Data Paths dialog box when creating a Fibre Channel Switch connection data path. Use this dialog box to configure the selected Fibre Channel Switch interface.
