Configuring a 1x1 Ethernet Wide Area Network

Creating a Data

After configuring the IP circuit, you need to establish a connection

Path

between the FC/IP interfaces by creating a data path. This procedure

 

will complete the configuration process.

 

Once you have configured the IP circuit, your screen should look like

 

the following example:

Right-click on the cloud icon

Double-click on the cloud icon

1.In the main window of the UltraNet ConfigManager, right-click on the FC/IP interface (the cloud icon for Node10) in the network map.

The Create Data Path menu is displayed.

2.Click the Create Data Paths selection. You should see “marching ants” outlining the FC/IP interface.

3.Double-click on the destination FC/IP interface (the cloud icon for Node20) in the network map.

NOTE: For a 2x2 configuration, right-click the FC/IP interface (the cloud icon for Node 11), click Create Data Paths and then double-click on the destination FC/IP interface, (the cloud icon for Node 21) to map the second FC/IP interface.
