2 Mounting Brocade MLXe-4, -8, or -16 routers in a 4-post rack or cabinet

4.Attach the side plates to the rear of the router, using eight 6-32 flat-head screws. Refer to Figure 65.

There are two sizes of side plates to accommodate cabinets or racks with depths of 27-28 inches, and depths of 29-31 inches. Be sure to select the side plate that is appropriate for your cabinet or rack.

5.The mounting shelf adjusts to accommodate racks with depths from 27 to 31 inches, for both 4-slot and 8-slot routers. Slide the adjustable rails to the proper depth for your installation, and Install the mounting shelf to the rack rails using eight 10-32 screws. Refer to Figure 66.
