If you try to install a Brocade MLX module in another Brocade device, or install a module intended for a another Brocade device in a Brocade MLX router, the router and module will not function properly.

Table 35 identifies the router slot numbers where the modules must be installed. An identifying label can be seen at the base of each slot.
