username
The username command establishes a login authentication system based on a username.

username <WORD> password [ 0 7 ]<WORD> username <WORD> nopassword
Command Syntax
WORD | the username, up to 16 characters |
nopassword | no password is required for the user |
| to log in |
password | specify a password for the user (31 |
| character maximum) - enclosed with |
| double quotes if the key contains |
| spaces). The "%" and "!" characters |
| must not be used. |
0 | specifies an UNENCRYPTED |
| password |
7 | specifies a HIDDEN password will |
| follow |
WORD | the UNENCRYPTED (cleartext) |
| user password (31 character |
| maximum) - enclosed with double |
| quotes if the key contains spaces). |
