area nssa

Use the area nssa command to configure an area as a Not So Stubby Area (NSSA). The no nssa command removes the NSSA configuration of an area.

Command Syntax

0-4294967295

OSPF area ID number in decimal format.

A.B.C.D

OSPF area ID in IP address format

default-information-originateOriginates a Type 7 default into the NSSA

 

area on an NSSA Area Border Router (ABR)

 

only.

no-redistribution

When router is NSSA ABR, the redistribute

 

command imports routes into normal areas,

 

but not into the NSSA area.

no-summary

Does not send summary LSAs into NSSA.

Command Default

No NSSA area is defined.
