redistribute

The redistribute command redistributes routes from one protocol domain to another routing domain. The no redistribute command disables route distribution from one protocol domain to another routing domain.

no redistribute {bgp connected ospf [match {internal external external 1 external 2}] static} [metric <1-16>][route-map <WORD>]

Command Syntax

bgp

BGP source protocol

connected

established routes as result of IP enabled on

 

an interface

ospf

OSPF source protocol

match

the criteria by which OSPF routes are

 

redistributed into RIP.

internal

routes that are internal to an autonomous

 

system

external

routes external to an autonomous system, but

 

are imported into OSPF as either Type 1 or

 

Type 2 external route

external 1

routes that are external to an autonomous

 

system, but are imported into OSPF as Type 1

 

external route
