OSPF Commands

area default-cost

Use the area default-costcommand to specify a cost metric for the default summary route sent into the stub area by an area border router (ABR) only. The no area default-costcommand removes the specified cost for the default summary route sent into a stub area.

Note: The area stub command is used in conjunction with the area default-costcommand to define a specified area as a stub area for all routers and access servers attached to the area.
