CMTS Commands

cable upstream active-codes

The cable upstream active-codescommand specifies the number of active codes allowed for an S-CDMA channel type. The active codes value must be a non prime number. Increasing the number of allowed active codes provides more transmission channel capacity. Reducing the number of active codes takes advantage of the S-CDMA spreader processing gain at the expense of channel capacity.
