ip access-group

The ip access-groupcommand configures an interface to use an access list. The no ip access-groupcommand does not allow incoming or outgoing packets.

Command Syntax

1-199

Standard number range from 1 to 199.

1300-2699

Extended number range from 1300 to 2699.

in

Incoming packet is processed only if the

 

source-address is in the access-list.

out

Same as in, outgoing packet is processed only

 

if access-list permits the packet.

Command Default

No access groups defined.
