the context in which management information

 

is accessed when using the community string

 

specified by the snmpCommunityName

eng-id

specifies the context EngineID

 

(snmpCommunityContextEngineID)

 

indicating the location of the context in which

 

management information is accessed when

 

using the community string specified by the

 

corresponding value of the

 

snmpCommunityName object

index

the unique index value of a row in the

 

snmpCommunityTable

nonvolatile

specifies the storage type

 

(snmpCommunityStorageType) as nonvolatile

 

which is defined as having persistent memory

 

so that the storage content remains after the

 

device is turned off and on again

not-in-service

sets the snmpCommunityStatus object to

 

"notInService"

transport-tag

specifies the transport tag

 

(snmpCommunityTransportTag) which is a

 

set of transport endpoints from which a

 

SNMP command responder application will

 

accept management requests - if a

 

management request containing this

 

community is received on a transport

 

endpoint other than the transport endpoints

 

identified by this object, the request is

 

deemed unauthentic

volatile

specifies the storage type

 

(snmpCommunityStorageType) as volatile

 

which is the defined as having temporary

 

memory and so that the storage content is

 

deleted if the device is turned off
