show aliases

The show aliases command displays any one of the following:

Aliases for commands in all modes

Aliases for commands in a specific mode.

Aliases for all commands that begin with, include, or exclude a specified string.

Aliases for a specific mode that begin with, include, or exclude a specified string.

show alias [all conf exec priv] [ {begin exclude include} {<WORD>} {count count-only}]

show alias [all conf exec priv] [ {count count-only}]

Command Syntax

all

Alias visible in all modes

conf

specifies aliases for Global

 

Configuration mode

exec

specifies aliases for User EXEC

 

mode

priv

specifies aliases for Privileged

 

EXEC mode

turns on output modifiers (filters)

begin

filter for output that begins with the

 

specified string

exclude

filter for output that excludes the

 

specified string
