System Administration Commands

 

 

radius-server

The radius-servercommand configures a RADIUS client to allow communication with a RADIUS server. Configuring a RADIUS client involves the following tasks:

specifying the RADIUS server

defining the shared encryption key for authentication between the RADIUS server and the RADIUS client

specifying the number of retry attempts if there is no response from an active RADIUS server

specifying the time interval between retry attempts if there is no response from from an active RADIUS server

radius-server host {<A.B.C.D><Hostname>} [auth-port <0-65535> [primary]] radius-server key <WORD>

radius-server retransmit <0-100>radius-server timeout <1-1000>

no radius-server retransmit no radius-server timeout

Command Syntax

host

specifies a RADIUS server

A.B.C.D

the IP address of the RADIUS server
