radius-server

The radius-servercommand configures a RADIUS client to allow communication with a RADIUS server. Configuring a RADIUS client involves the following tasks:

specifying the RADIUS server

defining the shared encryption key for authentication between the RADIUS server and the RADIUS client

■specifying the number of retry attempts if there is no response from an active RADIUS server

■specifying the time interval between retry attempts if there is no response from from an active RADIUS server

radius-server host {<A.B.C.D><Hostname>} [auth-port <0-65535> [primary]] radius-server key <WORD>

radius-server retransmit <0-100>radius-server timeout <1-1000>

no radius-server retransmit no radius-server timeout

Command Syntax

host	specifies a RADIUS server
A.B.C.D	the IP address of the RADIUS server
