Considerations

■You cannot assign a line that belongs to a pool as an individual line on that pooled extension.

■A line must be assigned to a button with lights. If a line is assigned to a button without lights, you cannot access that line, nor can you program anything else on the button.

■You can assign multiple lines (up to 19) to a standard phone, but a single-line phone can handle only one call at a time. To make a call, a user lifts the handset and dials 9 at the intercom dial tone; the system selects the first available line based on the Automatic Line Selection programmed for the extension. (Alternatively, the user can use Direct Line Pickup to access a specific line.)

2 = Not Assigned

3 = Select Button (then press a line button to assign the line to that button)

Programming

To assign lines to a specific extension:

1.Press f00ss#30 1at extension 10 or 11.

2.Enter the extension number to be programmed. For example, to program extension 15, press 15.

The red light next to each button that has a line assigned is on steady; the red light next to each button that has a pool assigned flashes. To remove all existing line assignments, press rbefore selecting a line.

3.Enter the line number to be assigned. For example, to select line 1, press

01.

4.At this point:

■If you want to assign the line to the first available button with lights, press Duntil the display reads:

■If you want to remove a line assignment, press Duntil the following appears on the display:

LineAssign15 L01

2 Not Assigned
