7.Pressing lightly on the battery icon on the front of the battery assembly, slide the locking latch downward to secure the assembly in place (see Figure 6-5). The “plus” icon and the battery icon should now be visible on the front of the battery assembly. This is the locked position.

8.Go to extension 10 and 11 and verify that the ChgBat W/PowerOn message is no longer displayed. If it is displayed, check that the batteries are installed correctly and that they are new. If the message is still displayed, call the hotline.
