Adding a static route

To add a static routes, perform the following steps:

1Select the static route from the table.

2Click Add.

The Add Route dialog box appears (see Figure 139).

3Enter the static route information in the applicable fields. Table 101 describes the Add Route fields.

Destination Address

Specifies the static route destination IP address.

 

 

Netmask

Specifies the network mask to apply to the IP address.

 

 

Gateway

Specifies the IP address on the core router.

 

 

Note: When you add a static route to the system, host, or interface configuration, the route is automatically assigned an index number. There are separate sequences of index numbers for routes configured for the cluster, for each host, and for each interface.
