Specifies the SNMP versions allowed. Enter one or

 

 

more of the following options:

 

 

v1 — SNMP version 1

 

 

v2c — SNMP version 2c

 

 

v3 — SNMP version 3

 

 

To configure support for multiple versions, use a

 

 

comma to separate the entries.

 

 

The default is all versions (v1, v2c, v3).

 

 

 

 

snmpv2-mib

Accesses the SNMPv2-MIBmenu, in order to

 

 

configure parameters in the standard SNMP v2 MIB for

 

 

the system (see “Configuring the SNMP v2 MIB using

 

 

the CLI” on page 621).

 

 

 

 

community

Accesses the SNMP Community menu, in order to

 

 

configure the community aspects of SNMP monitoring

 

 

(see “Configuring the SNMP community using the CLI”

 

 

on page 622).

 

 

 

 

users

Accesses the SNMP User menu, in order to manage

 

 

SNMPv3 users (see “Configuring SNMPv3 users using

 

 

the CLI” on page 623).

 

 

 

 

target

Accesses the Notification Target menu, in order to

 

 

configure the notification target aspects of SNMP

 

 

monitoring (see “Configuring SNMP notification targets

 

 

using the CLI” on page 626).

 

 

 

 

event

Accesses the Event menu, in order to create custom

 

 

monitoring definitions for the objects in the

 

 

DISMAN-EVENT-MIB (see “Configuring SNMP

 

 

notification targets using the CLI” on page 626).

 

 

 

Configuring the SNMP v2 MIB using the CLI

To configure parameters in the standard SNMPv2 MIB, use the following command:

/cfg/sys/adm/snmp/snmpv2-mib
