Public Interview Box
and Public Messages
The voice mail system provides a Public Interview Box in the Transaction
Directory. Messages left in the Public Interview Box or Operator Bo x or Public
Fax Box are public messages that are available to all subscribers with p ub lic
message access. The system may also be set up to send a public message if
a system error occurs.
Typically, the Public Interview Box handles cal ls to the Operator that go
unanswered and asks for the caller name, telephone number and a br ief
message so the call can be returned. Th e Public Interview Box does have
other functions.
