SECTION 5

REPLOG FILES The voice mail system keeps a record (log) of every call it answers, dials,

or transfers. When the system handles a call, a line is added to a DOS file

called REPLOG files. REP LOG files are named using the following

format:

REPLOG

Where

d

is the day, and

m

is the number of the month. Each day a new

REPLOG file is created. The R EPLOG for March 20, is REPLOG20.3; the

REPLOG for November 6 is REPLOG6.11. For details on the REPLOG

files, refer to the Reference Book.

After you have transferred REPLOG files from a host computer to your

own remote computer, you may review them in several ways. REPLOG

files use ASCII data format. Any standard wor d process or or spread sheet

program may be used to display or prin t the report.
