Both a message group and a directory group may be n eeded for some
departments or subscribers. The mess age group allows you to se nd the
same message to subscribers, and the directory group allows the system
to list them in the same place in numeric d irec t or y assistance.
Directory Menus
Use directory menus to create one- key dialing me nus automat ically for
numeric directory assistance. Refer to Figure 3-3 A Directory Menu.
The system uses the entries under the Key and Directory Name columns
to create a one-key dialing menu. The Key column number is the
touchtone assigned to the directory grou p listed ne xt to it. Refe r to Figure

dialing menu, using each directory gr ou p recorded name:

You can also add directory menus in t he Directory Name column, to offer
callers a submenu of additiona l choices. T he Cust omer Ser vice directo ry
submenu offers two additional choices: one fo r Technical Support, and
one for Accounts.
Each directory menu is owned by the system. The upper right part of the
screen is identified by: DIRECTORY menu of •SYSTEM•.
