262Chapter 10: Installing peripheral devices

The setup procedure is the same for all three terminals and is as follows:

1Turn on the terminal.

2Press the [Set-Up] key to enter setup mode.

The current setup values are displayed on a series of screens.

3Using the following procedures, change the values on each screen to match the values in the appropriate table.

To move to a particular screen from the main setup screen, use the arrow keys to move through the menu of setup screens, and press [Enter].

To move to the next setup screen, use the arrow keys to move to To Next SetUp and press [Enter].

To change the value in a field:

¥Use the arrow keys to move to that field.

¥Press [Enter] to move through the available values for that field.

4When youÕve finished, press the [Set-Up] key again.

Note: Different versions of the VT220, VT320, and VT420 are indicated by the version number at the top right corner of the setup screen. The wording on the setup screens varies slightly from one version to another. Use the values that are closest to the ones shown in the tables.
