Procedure 3: Load application software from tape (continued)

1Insert the tape (marked Tape 2 of 2) into the tape drive as shown in Figure 119.

Ensure that the tape drive latch (if present) is fully closed after the tape is inside. Once the tape is inserted correctly and the latch completely closed, the tape active indicator light will come on briefly, flicker a few times, then go out again.
