The MVME147 CPU Processor/SCSI Controller may be used to install the BOS product on the following disk drive types.

The first column is the selection number, the second is the disk type name (see the disk types associated with the ddefs(1M) utility), and the third briefly describes the specific disk drive type:

You noted the disk type for your system in step 6. (See Figure 145 for an example.) Most of the disk drives shown in the above figure are not used by Nortel. Some common disk types used by Nortel and their corresponding selection numbers are listed in the table below.

Note: If your drive is not listed, but another drive of the same size is listed, use the option number for the listed drive. If you experience difficulties, contact your Nortel support personnel.
