Note: If your drive does not appear in Figure 184, but another drive of the same size is listed, use the option number for the listed drive. Alternatively, choose option 6 for M2614S, or option 16 for ST3283N. Although options 8, 9, and 16 start with the prefix Òm147,Ó these options are also applicable to IPE Modules and Application Modules with MVME167 cards. If you experience difficulties, contact your Nortel support personnel.

If the root file systemÕs disk is new or needs to be formatted, it can be formatted now. In order for you to take advantage of dynamic disk slicing capabilities and the use of the sledit(1M) utility you may have to reformat the disk if it was formatted with the R3V3 or earlier version of

the BOS disk formatter, dinit(1M).

WARNING - FORMATTING THE DISK WILL DESTROY ALL DATA ON THE DISK.
