324Chapter 12: Meridian 1 configuration for Meridian Link/CCR

Configuring DNIS to use Incoming Digit Conversion

The Incoming Digit Conversion (IDC) feature can optionally be used to provide routing by DNIS number as an alternative to using auto-terminating trunks (see ÒConfiguring DNIS to use auto-terminating trunksÓ earlier in this chapter). The DNIS number can be translated into an ACD DN number and the DNIS number used as information.

Note: X11 Release 23 allows configuration of a seven-digit DNIS. Although X11 Release 24 supports up to a 31-digit DNIS, only a maximum of 16 digits are allowed when used with the IDC feature.
