Directed Call Pickup
Description
Directed Call Pickup permits an extension user to intercept a call ringing another extension. This
allows a user to conveniently answer a co-worker’s call from their own telephone. With Directed
Call Pickup, an extension user can pick up:
Trunk calls (i.e., Ring Group calls)
Direct Inward Lines
Transferred trunk calls
Transferred Intercom calls
Ringing and voice-announced Intercom calls
Conditions
(A.) An extension can use Directed Call Pickup to intercept calls to which it is denied access in Pro-
grams 14-07 and 15-06.

Enabled.
Programming
11-12-30 : Service Code Setup (for Service Access) - Specied Trunk Answer
If required, redene the service code used to answer a specic trunk which is either ringing or
on hold (default: 172).
20-10-05 : Class of Service Options (Answer Service) - Directed Call Pickup for Own
Group
Enable (1) or disable (0) an extension’s ability to use Directed Call Pickup for calls ringing
their own group.
