You can ma nage the swi tch from a re mote stat ion by using the fron t-panel ima ges. Th e front- panel
images a re u pda ted base d on t he ne twork p ol ling int erval tha t you set from CMS > Preferences.
This section includes descriptions of the LED images. Similar descriptions of the switch LEDs are
provided in the switch hardware installation guide.

Figure 3-7 shows the port icons as they appear in the Front Panel. To select a port, click the port on the
Front Panel. T he p ort is the n highl igh ted with a y ellow out line. To sel ect m ul tipl e port s, you can :
•Press the left mouse button, drag the pointer ov er the group of ports that you want to select, and then
release the mouse button.
•Press the Ctrl key, and click the ports that you want to select.
•Right-clic k a por t, and se lect Select All Ports from the po rt popup men u.
