ip igmp query-max-response-time

Use this command to set the maximum response time interval advertised in IGMPv2 queries. The

no form of this command resets the IGMP maximum response time to the default value of 100 (one tenth of a second).

Syntax

ip igmp query-max-response-time time no ip igmp query-max-response-time

Parameters

time

Specifies the IGMP maximum response time interval. Valid values are

 

from 0 to 255 tenths of a second. The default value is 100 (one tenth of a

 

second).

 

 

Defaults

None.

Example

This example shows how to set the IGMP query maximum response time interval to 200 (2 tenths of a second) on VLAN 1:

C3(su)->router(Config)#interface vlan 1

C3(su)->router(Config-if(Vlan 1))#ip igmp query-max-response-time 200

ip igmp startup-query-interval

Use this command to set the interval between general IGMP queries sent on startup. The no form of this command resets the IGMP startup query interval to the default value of 31 seconds.

Syntax

ip igmp startup-query-interval time no ip igmp startup-query-interval

Parameters

time

Specifies the IGMP startup query interval. Valid values are from 1 to 300

 

seconds. The default value is 31 seconds.

 

 

Defaults

None.
