What It Displays...

 

 

Metric Cost

The priority of the path. Low costs have a higher priority than high

 

costs.

 

 

OSPF MTU-ignore

Whether to ignore MTU mismatches in database descriptor

 

packets sent from neighboring routers. The following information

 

only displays if OSPF is initialized on the interface:

 

 

OSPF Interface Type

Broadcast LANs, such as Ethernet and IEEE 802.5, take the value

 

broadcast. Tunnel interfaces take the value point-to-point.

 

 

State

The OSPF Interface States are: down, loopback, waiting, point-to-

 

point, designated router, and backup designated router.

 

 

Designated Router

The router ID representing the designated router.

 

 

Backup Designated Router

The router ID representing the backup designated router.

 

 

Number of Link Events

The number of link events.

 

 

show ipv6 ospf interface stats

This command displays statistics for a specific interface. Statistics are displayed only if OSPFv3 is enabled.

Syntax

show ipv6 ospf interface stats vlan vlanid

Parameters

vlan vlanid

Specifies the VLAN interface for which to display statistics.

Defaults

None.

Mode

Router privileged execution: C3(su)‐>router#

Example

This example shows how to display statistics for VLAN 80.

C3(su)->router>show ipv6 ospf interface stats vlan 80
