define_sdlc_ls
The frame to use for preactivation polling. This frame is usually XID, indicating that polling is in the control of the DLC user. However, when SNAplus2 is primary talking to an old secondary implementation, it may be necessary to poll using some other frame. Possible values are:
XID
DISC
SNRM
SNRME
TESTT
poll_on_iframe
Specifies whether this link station is allowed to send the poll bit on an
Possible values are:
YES
This link station is allowed to send the poll bit on an
NO
This link station is not allowed to send the poll bit on an
opt1
HMOD port options flag 1. This parameter is used only for switched outgoing links (not for leased links or switched incoming links). The options specified using this parameter override those defined for the port that owns this LS. For switched incoming links or leased links, the options defined in the opt1 parameter for the port (not for the LS) are used.
Set the appropriate bits of this parameter to one of the values shown (these values can be combined with a + character):
FOUR_WIRE
Specify this value when you have a
Do not specify this value when you have a
NRZI
Use NRZI data encoding for transmitting data over the data link. Do not specify this value if you want to use NRZ.
If you are configuring a link to a network, use the encoding type that is used by the rest of the network. All stations on a network that communicate with each other must use the same encoding type. Neither type of encoding works for all situations. If you experience problems when using one type of encoding, change the encoding type for all stations to the other type.
FULL_DUPLEX
Use full duplex. Do not specify this value if you want to use
linesp
The line speed for the line used on this port. For example, set this parameter to 2400 for a 2400 baud line. This parameter is ignored if external clocking is specified on the opt1 parameter of the owning port (INT_CLK is set to 0), or if the underlying SDLC hardware supports only external clocking.
