Administration Commands

delete_mode

Possible values are:

INVALID_RESOURCE_TYPE

The value specified in the resource_type parameter was not valid.

INVALID_LU_NAME

The LU name specified in the resource_name parameter was not valid.

INVALID_PARTNER_LU

The partner LU name specified in the resource_name parameter was not valid.

INVALID_MODE_NAME

The mode name specified in the resource_name parameter was not valid.

GLOBAL_TIMEOUT_NOT_DEFINED

The value GLOBAL_TIMEOUT was specified for the resource_type parameter but there is no defined global timeout.

State Check

No specific state errors, other than those listed in Appendix A, Common Return Codes from snapadmin Commands, occur for this command.

Other Conditions

Appendix A, Common Return Codes from snapadmin Commands, lists combinations of primary and secondary return codes that are common to all commands.

2.84 delete_mode

The delete_mode command deletes the definition of a mode. You cannot delete SNA-defined modes such as SNASVCMG and CPSVCMG.

2.84.1 Supplied Parameters

Supplied parameter is:

mode_name

Name of the mode whose definition is to be deleted. This name is a type-A character string starting with a letter.

2.84.2 Returned Parameters

No parameters are returned by SNAplus2 when this command executes successfully.

2.84.3 Error Return Codes

If the command cannot be executed, SNAplus2 returns a primary return code to indicate the type of error and a secondary return code to provide specific details about the reason for unsuccessful execution.
