No input signal is being provided at the far end.
Far end protection line is no longer available.
Exceeded errored seconds have crossed a user definable major or minor threshold crossing alert for a 15 minute period causing an alarm report.
X = input numbers 1 to 8. User defined housekeeping input on port listed has received an alarm.
Check input connections at the far end and transmitting equipment into the far end low speed facility.
Check fiber facilities and connections to protect card. Verify Protection EIMs (PEIM) are installed. Check facility status and alarm reports.
Retrieve PM data to determine problem cards/ports. Check inputs and signal levels. Replace problem cards if necessary. See Section 6 of this manual for warranty and return authorization information.
Refer to label inside front door panel for correlating input type. Troubleshoot accordingly..

Ingress congestion threshold crossing alert. Cells congested on the ingress of reported port have crossed a user definable threshold level.
Line code violations have exceeded the user definable threshold level causing a Threshold Crossing Alert (Tca).
Review traffic contracts and modify threshold level if needed. Monitor for future congestion alarms. Cells tagged for discard become susceptible to termination.
Check input from Customer premise Equipment (CPE), signal level and pulse mask.
