12.7 Other functions
Other functions include the "step function", "skip function", "M code output function",
"teaching function", "target position cha nge function", "command in-position funct ion",
"acceleration/deceleration processing functi on", "pre-reading start function",
"deceleration start flag function" and "stop c ommand processing for deceleration stop
function". Each function is executed by param eter setting or sequence program
creation and writing.
12.7.1 Step function
The "step function" is used to confirm each operation of the positioning control one by
one.
It is used in debugging work for major position ing control, etc.
A positioning operation in which a "ste p function" is used is called a "step oper ation".
In step operations, the timing for stopping th e control can be set. (This is called the
"step mode".) Control stopped by a step oper ation can be continued by setting "step
continue" (to continue the control)" or res tarted by setting "restart" in the "step star t
information".
