The setting range differs depending on the " Pr.1 Unit setting".

Pr.7 Bias speed at start

Set the bias speed (minimum speed) upon starting. The bias speed has t o be

defined to allow the motor to start smoothly especially when a stepping m otor is

used. (A stepping motor will not start smoothly if a low rotation speed is instructed

at the beginning.)

The specified "bias speed at start" will be valid during the followin g operations:

• Positioning operation

• OPR operation

• JOG operation

Note that the bias speed should not exceed " Pr.8 Speed limit value".
