Example
For logical port 1 on partition number 2, conf igure the PNNI cont roller (t he numbe r 2) to ha ve 10 %–15%
of the bandwidth on b oth the ingress and eg ress, a VPI range of 20–100, a VCI range of 1–32767, a
minimum guaranteed number of 1000 connections (or channels) and a maximum of 2000 connections.

-emax Specifies the ma ximum percentage of th e bandwidth. Each un i t o f egrMax Bw is
0.00001 of the total bandwidth available to the port. (An egrMaxBw of 1000000 =
100%.) The resulting ban d w id th m u st be at least 50 cps.
-imin Specifies the guaranteed per centage of the ingress bandwidth. Each un it of ingMinBw
is 0.00001 of the total bandwidth available to the port. For example, an ingMinBw of
1000000 = 100%.
-imax Specifies the maximum p er cen ta ge of the ingress bandwidth. Each in crem ent of
ingMaxBw is 0.00001 of the total bandwidth on the port. For example, an ingMaxBw
of 1000000 = 100%. Note that the maximum ingress bandwidth must be at least 50
cps.
-vpmin Specifies the minimum VPI. For NNI, the range is 0–4095. For UNI, the range is
0–255.
-imax Specifies the maxim um VPI in the range 0–4095 for an NNI . For a U N I, the r ang e is
0–255. The maxvpi cannot be less than the minvpi.
-vcmin Specifies the minimum VCI in the range 0–2000 (OC-48 only) or 32–65535.
-vcmax Specifies the maximum VCI in the range 0–2000 (OC-48 only) or 32–65535.
-mincon Specifies the guaranteed number of connections. The range is between 0 and the
maximum number of connections in the port group. See dspcd for information about
port groups.
-maxcon Specifies the maximum number of connections. The range is between 10 and the
maximum number of connections i n t h e p ort gr o up. See dspcd port group
information. maxConns cannot be less than minConns.
