Release 2.0, Part Number 78-10467-04 Rev C0, October 2001
Chapter3 Equipment and Resource Provisioning dspcdsct
Display the Class of Serv ic e B u ffer p ar ame ters for SCT 2. Note the fo llow in g :
Min-Rate and Max-Rate do not apply in the current product.
Excess-Priority is a scheme for distributing excess bandwidth. The lowest number is the highest
priority for a connection to receive excess bandwidth. If two or more connections have equal
priority, the excess bandwidth is equally distributed between them.
Explicit Rate Stamping (ERS) ap plies to only AB R con necti ons .
Cell loss ratio (CLR) is currently hard-coded, so do not attempt to modify it through the Cisco WAN
Manager application or the CLI commands.

Display VC thresholds for SCT 2. Note the following:
The Scaling COSB value applies t o co ng est io n in a C l as s o f S ervi ce Buffer: if a buffer gets congested,
this factor determines how qu ickly the node throttles ba ck th e r at e a t w h ic h cells enter the buffer.
The Scaling Log-If is a scaling factor that applies to congestion on a port: when t he port gets congested,
this factor determines the rat e at which the node throt tle s b ack t ra ffic (u nt il the port is uncongested).
