Up Connection—return a downed connection to the active (administratively up) state.
Activate a connection that was previously brought down by the dncon command. (The typical purpose
of dncon is some form of operational modif ica tion or troub lesho oting .) Exe cute upcon at the master end
of the connection.

ifNum The logical port number. The range for AXSM is 1–60.
vpi Virtual path identifier. On the AXSM, the range is 1–255.
vci Virtual connection identifier. On t he A XSM , the range is 32–65535 for a VCC. For
a VPC, the only vci is 0.
