Down Line
Use dnln to de-activate a line on the current card. Before you can de-activate a line, you m u st:
Step 1 Remove connections. Use delcon or delcons.
Step 2 Remove any resource pa rt it ions. Use dsprscprtn to see existing partitions and delrscprtn to re move
partitions.
Step 3 Remove all logical ports. Use dspports to see existing logical po r ts o n th e lin e and delport to remove
logical ports.

bay.line Specifies a SONET line (OC-3c, OC-12c, OC-48c) or a DS3 line (E3or T3), the bay
(1 for upper or 2 for lower), and the line number. The line number ranges from 1 to
the highest number line on the back card.
