Display Connectionsdisplay basic information for all connections.
The default usage of dspcons uses no parameters and causes all availa bl e i nf o rm ati on for the
connections to appea r. To narrow th e sc ope of the output, use one or more optional parameters.
The dspcons command runs on the CLI of either the AXSM or the PXM45. The set of optional
parameters and the output are di ffere nt o n t h ese c ards. (See Syntax Description fo r th e ca rd-specific
parameters.) On the AXSM, th e c olumns at the head of the info rm at io n fiel ds a re :
When you execute dspcons on the CLI of the PXM45, the output shows:
record A number for the connection with internal application only . It reside s in the
database on the AXSM and is not affe cted by user input. The system creates
this number when you create th e c on n ect io n. Th e C isc o WAN Manager
application uses this number.
Identifier Identifies the connection in th e fo r mat port vpi vci .
Type Shows whet he r t he connection is a VCC or a VPC.
SrvcType The service typeVBR, and so on. (See addcon description).
M/S Indicates whether the endpoin t specified by Identifier is the master or slave.
Upld The hexadecimal Upload number is an encoded times tamp the Cisco WAN
Manager application uses to d e te rm in e w h en a connection was created or
modified. In the CLI context, th is fiel d has little meaning.
Adm The administrative sta te of t he connection. If the co nnection is down, it
may have resulted from the dncon command.
Alarm Shows the alarm status of the con n ect io n .
Local and
Remote Port ID The displa y contains a column for the lo ca l p o rt I D an d a c ol um n fo r th e
remote port ID. The port ID has the format that the network controller
utilizes: [shelf.]slot[:subslot].port[:subport]
Local and
Remote VPI.VCI The VPI and VCI at the local and remote ends o f th e c on n ect io n.
State The State column shows whether the connection is OK, down (by the dncon
command), failed, or has an alarm indication signal (AIS) or abit errors.
Owner Whether the endpoint is master or slave.
Local and
Remote NSAP An NSAP address for each end of the connection.
