Syntax Description
ifNum The port number of the connection to configure.
vpi The VPI range for a UNI port endpoin t is 0255. The VPI range for an NNI or VNNI
port endpoint is 04095.
vci The VCI range for a UNI port endpoint is 14095. The VCI range for a NNI por t
endpoint is 3265535. For MPLS, the recommended minimum VCI is 35.
-icr Keyword that specifies the Initial Cell Rate (ICR) in cells per secon d. This is the rate
at which the source should b egin transmitting, and is also th e rate at which the source
should resume transmitting after an idle pe riod. The ra nge is 04 294967295 cells per
second.
-adtf Keyword that specifies the ACR D ecr ea s e Tim e Fact or ( A D TF) . T his is the time
permitted to decrease the cell rate from the RM-cell rate to the Allowed Cell Rate
(ACR) for normal traffic. The range is 11023 milliseconds.
-rdf Keyword that specifies the Rate Decrease Factor (RDF). This is the factor by which
to decrease the Allowed Cell Rate (ACR). RD F is a power of 2 in the range 1/32768
to 1.
-rif Keyword that specifies the Rate Increas e Fac to r (RI F ) . Thi s is the fac to r by wh ich to
increase the Allowed Cell Rate (ACR). RIF is a power of 2 in the range 1/32768 to 1.
