Display Card Counters
Displays the number of cells tr an sf er re d be tw ee n t h e s erv ice module and the switchin g pl an es.
(Synonyms for switching plane are cros sbar, xbar, and switch fabric.) One switch fabric is imple mented
in hardware by one ASIC. The dspcdcnt command primarily applies to debugging.
The type of information consists of:
•Cells transferred between the s ervice module and each of the switch p lanes within the total array of
switch planes.
•Total cells transferred between the service module and the backplane.
•Cells to and from QE48.
•Undefined cells.
•Total number of CLP0 and CLP1 cells that have been discarded.
•Errored, invalid, and unsupported OAM cells.
•Errored RM cells.
•Cells transferred between and i ndi vi du al s witc h pla ne a nd eac h sl ot. T his info rmat ion i s cen tere d on
the switch fabric itself rat her than the card. Each swi tch fabric can route cells t o and from any slot,
so the display includes this i nfo rm ation for each switching plane.
