Conventions
Table 3 lists the documentation for the Cisco WAN Manager (CWM) network management system.
Conventions
This publication uses the follow in g co nvention s t o c onvey instructions and information.
Command descriptions use these conventions:
•Commands and keywords are in boldface.
•Arguments for which you supply values are in italics.
•Elements in square brackets ([ ]) are optional.
•Alternative but required keywo rds are grouped in braces ( { }) and are separated by vert ical bars ( | ).
Examples use these conventions:
•Terminal sessions and information the s y st em d isp l ay s are i n screen font.
•Information you enter is in boldface screen font.
•Nonprinting characters, such as p ass wor ds, ar e in an g le b r ack ets (< >) .
•Default responses to system prompts are in square brackets ([ ]).
Note Means reader take note. Notes contain helpful suggestions or references to materials not contained
in this manual.
Caution Means reader be careful. In this situation, you might do something th at co uld result in equipment
damage or loss of data.
