Initial System Setup
Thefirst time that you access a fabric interconnect in a Cisco UCS domain, a setup wizard prompts you for
thefollowing information required to configure the system:
• Installation method (GUI or CLI)
• Setup mode (restore from full system backup or initial setup)
• System configuration type (standalone or cluster configuration)
• System name
• Admin password
• Management port IP address and subnet mask
• Default gateway IP address
• DNS Server IP address
