Dependingupon the implementation, you may configure several policies with server pool policy qualifications
includingthe following:
• Autoconfiguration policy
• Chassis discovery policy
• Server discovery policy
• Server inheritance policy
• Server pool policy
Creating Server Pool Policy Qualifications
Procedure
Step 1 Inthe Navigation pane, clickthe Servers tab.
Step 2 Onthe Servers tab, expand Servers >Policies.
Step 3 Expandthe node for theorganization where you want to create the policy.
Ifthe system does not includemultitenancy, expand the root node.
Step 4 Right-clickthe Server Pool Policy Qualifications node and select Create Server Pool Policy Qualification.
Step 5 Inthe Create Server Pool Policy Qualification dialog box, enter a unique name and description for the
policy.
Step 6 (Optional) To use this policy to qualify servers according to their adapter configuration, do the following:
a) Click Create Adapter Qualifications.
b) In the Create Adapter Qualifications dialog box, complete the following fields:
DescriptionName
Theadapter type.
Onceyou save the adapter qualification, this type cannot be changed.
Typedrop-down list
Aregular expressionthat the adapter PID mustmatch.PIDfield
Themaximum capacity for theselected type.
Tospecify a capacity, choose select and enter the desired maximum
capacity.You can enter an integer between 1 and 65535.
MaximumCapacity field
c) Click OK.
Step 7 (Optional) To use this policy to qualify servers according to the chassis in which they physically reside, do
thefollowing:
a) Click Create Chassis/Server Qualifications.
